Welcome Little One

Another storm in heading this way for tonight so the kids are hoping for another snowday. I love having them home and staying in our pj's all day...but I don't get to stamping because my daughter has been being creative and there isn't room for 2.

I pulled this out of the box.

BBBRRRRR Snowday

Sorry for a late entry. My daughter and son are home from school due to the weather. And my daughter has been on the computer all morning. I just bumped her off so I could upload a project.

This is an example of a prayer book I made for each of my ladies in our small group. I found it was very helpful to pray for needs of others and then right in when and how the need was answered.

Keeping warm on this blizzard-cold of a day...

Zoo Day

I pulled this one out of my stash. I made it at an event and love the elements. I could have done a better job coloring it.. especially after reading how to be a great color-er on Tricia blog.
This was made with the In Colors..river rock, bayou and wasabi and a piece of white.
I am heading back to the stamping hole to come out with some new designs.
Sorry I haven't posted my emergency kit cards but Jackie wasn't at church and I am not heading toward Zeeland anytime soon. But I will post them.
I love to hear some comments on the blog. I see my counter go up but being the people person I am I want to know "who".
Have a blessed day

My Trades For Holland Convention

These are the two different trades I have made for a convention in March that my unit has every year. LOVE IT!! So many new ideas, business speakers and the make & takes are great. I made 20 of each of these and I have a 3-D project that I made 40 of that I will show later.
I again have gotten this design from Joan Misner. If you have never been to her stamp camp, you are missing a hidden treasure!
These cards are made with Guava and Pomegranate, ivory, close to cocoa regular and designer paper. I used the Baroque Motifs set with the matching inks per card. I used the scalloped paper punch and handcut the layering flower. You might not be able to see the deminionsals used but under each layer of the flower & scalloped punch I used Deminionals. Then I punched and set a eyelet with my crop-a-dile...LOVE THAT! I used ribbon from the Sherbert's pack. I did alot of sponging to age the paper.
These are just card fronts. I found that making a whole card is a waste because if I trade with someone that later finds she doesn't like it I haven't wasted alot of paper when it goes in the trash.
Have a great Monday. My kids are home so I am off to make pigs-in-a-blanket for lunch!

Emergency Card Kit

Good Sunday Morning. Before I head off to church I thought I would post my lastest project...
I CASED this off SCS (Splitcoaststampers) and modified it to my colors. I also have on for Thank you and for Encouragment. I made this envelope from the 5 in 1 template but added 1/4 inches all around. This kit contains 8 3X6 cards with envelopes and a pen.
I made it out of Mellow Moss pattern paper,Ruby Red,Chocolate Chip and Mellow moss with some River Rock ribbon.
I will post the cards later today. My upline took the kit to post on our unit Web site and I will get them back today at church.
I will make samples of the other 2 kits so you can see the front sayings... I wrote them and thought they are cute.
Have a Blessed Day

Happy Valentine's Day

I normally do valentine's day cards around some kind of a candy. But this year I thought

I would make an actual card.

I used the heart from the Time Well Spent set and the scrolls are from the Baroque Motifs. I used Rose Red paper and ink, white of course is the main card and a patterned pieces from the Rose Red pattern pack. I used diamond glaze on the heart to give it some dimension. I also colored in the flower with the white gel pen and then cut another flower out of vellum and adhered it by a "bling" brad. I used the slot punch to keep it closed and it give the card a different look. Dimensions were used to bring things off the card.

I hope you like the card... leave me a comment

Enjoy this day that the Lord has made....

My First Stamping Blog Post

Here is my first card for my new blog. I copied it fromJoan Misner's Stamp Camp and just love it. It is the Time Well Spent set we got as a gift from SU. I also used Sanded background stamp inked with Creamy Carmel. The paper used was Creamy Carmel, Cameo Coral and Ruby Red. The same colors in markers were used to color in the "FRIENDS". I finished it off with my favorite Close to Cocoa ribbon..

Welcome to my new stamping blog. I visit so many daily that i wanted to start one myself.
I hope to have many of you visit daily... and see my counter raise rapidly...
Here we go!!
