A nice fall card

This card was made @ Joan's last stamp camp. It is a great fall card. And on a beautiful Michigan fall afternoon I thought it was a great day to post it.
It was made with alot of the Big Shot dies that SU now has. Alot of sponging of colors, which always makes messy fingers.

Back From a Family Vacation

We ventured to the east coast to see all the historical sites at Jamestown, Williamsburg, Mt. Vernon and all the at D.C. has to offer. We didn't get to see all that we wanted in D.C. so we will return in a cooler part of the the year. It sure is deathly hot this time of year out there. But we had a memoriable time.

Know that we are back and unpacked I can get back to some projects.

Boy, it's been a long time

I am sorry for the lack of updating.

I had a stamp camp on Monday and had a great time with the 1 person that came. Hey, it's summer!

I really want to start a new direction for what I do with Stampin Up. So watch for some classes in the mail and other projects that you can purchase and do at home. I am working on a few kits as well.. Kits that are something that you can do for craft projects with your children for gifts for relatives or friends ...or for a VBS or youth group project.

I'm back but busy

Here is the outside envelope for my card kits. ENJOY!

This is Joan Misner's datebook. It is 18month long and it is BEAUTIFUL!! Since SU doesn't have one for us any longer she made one. She is having it bond and then she'll use it for all her dates. I bet if you go to convention she may have it to show you.

Sorry for not being up to date on my blog. But I can't even find my stamp room!! It is in there somewhere!! I have been in the midst of a big mess out our house and it is getting nearly under control. I hope to get new samples up and designed next week. I have to get through this last busy/active weekend.

I thought this was a cute card using the simple look of dots and cutting. Joan designed this one and I just had to make it.

Sorry I haven't been up on the updating and my own creations but I have been purging my house for a yard sale next weekend...then comes the packing. We are selling and hopefully building this summer/fall. I am selling a TON of my scrapbooking and stamping stock that I don't seem to use. I tend to do more collecting these days then scrapbooking.

As soon as I get this sale over with I am going to hit the classes and workshops hard.

I made this at Joan's house. She had it done in Sky blue that is even more beautiful. Not a hard card to make but details. Lots of dimensionals!!

Tart & Tangy

here are some samples from my day Joan's. We had fun yaking and stamping. She has such awesome ideas and extremely motivating. The seeds on the apples are done with cystal effects and a little black reinker (stazon). It really added to the card. Don't you just love the leaves!!!

Candy wrappers

I made these for a swap. I loved this paper!! They are Hershey bar sliders I made these for just people. They are suckers in the base. Everyone loved them. Some said Happy Valentine's day and others For You. We will make them for our Mother/daughther event's favors next year.

Can't "flip" the baby

I made these cards in packs of 4 cards/5 envies for the craftshow. I didn't sell any...but then again there wasn't many people to sell to. I don't know how to flip the photo and I am sorry you have to cock your head to see the cards.

I am heading up to Joan's again... to be motivated and inspired.

These two cards styles I sold 4 cards/5 envies for $3. No layering just a bit of ribbon. They sold the most...because of the show being in Holland Mi everyone is all about tulips:)

These calanders were made out of coasters. You noticed the retired papers?!?! Craftshows are a great resource to use your retired stuff and make some profits.

Thought of this one ....just tried to have tulips available.

These are the mini comp books. I made items in 4 different color tones. I thought it would make the display look less of a mixed bunch of stuff...so it would be inviting to the passerby. I did get alot of compliments from other vendors on the professional look of the booth. Sorry, no booth photo. I forgot my camera...it was a busy day to get everything together and the camera wasn't on the list.

I added magnets to the back of this one for work/frig. I needed one for work so this project was a NEED!
